Today, the day before Thanksgiving break, we played a game called “Never Forget the Rules of Integers.”
The students were split into two teams. One student from each team was given a pair of numbers. They had to add, subtract, multiply, and divide those two numbers. They were to write their answers on the board and the other team could “challenge” their answers. The team received one point for each correct answer, two points if they challenged the other team’s answer and was correct, and lost two points if they challenged the answer and was incorrect. The game wasn’t rip-roaring fun, but was definitely educational entertainment anyway.
I hope everyone enjoys their Thanksgiving break!!
